Gear Motor

The working principle of a gear motor is to drive the gear set to rotate through pressure fluid in a hydraulic or pneumatic system, converting fluid pressure energy into mechanical energy and outputting torque.
Core working principle
Gear motors (including hydraulic and pneumatic types) work based on the principle of volumetric energy conversion, and their core process can be divided into the following steps:
Pressure fluid input: High pressure oil or compressed air enters the gear engagement chamber from the oil inlet, forming a pressure difference.
Torque generation: Fluid pressure acts on the gear tooth surface, causing an unbalanced hydraulic torque due to the meshing point radius being smaller than the tooth tip circle radius, driving the gear to rotate.

Volume change: When the gear rotates, the meshing teeth constantly change, causing periodic increases and decreases in the volume of the oil inlet chamber, achieving continuous fluid suction and discharge.

Mechanical energy output: The rotational motion of gears is transmitted to external loads through the output shaft, completing energy conversion.
Key structural features
Symmetrical design: The inlet and outlet are symmetrically arranged to support forward and reverse rotation, and the outlet is independently set to ensure sealing.
